Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa House Reef (June 2025)

Описание: We spent 10 nights at Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa in June 2025 and stayed in Room 200, a Jacuzzi Beach Villa on the adult-only side of the island. In our opinion, it’s the best location—quiet, with easy access to the reef just a few steps from the beach.

Most of our snorkeling was done on the north side of the island, where the reef is teeming with life and easily accessible from shore. We also explored the beginning of the south side (adult-only area), where we found some nice coral formations and spotted squids.

The video includes many of the incredible marine species we saw during our stay, such as:
Black-tip reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, moray eel, soft corals, coral structures, anemones with clownfish, black surgeonfish, octopus, striped large-eye bream, needlefish, surgeonfish, turtles, squids, napoleon fish, clown triggerfish, Picasso triggerfish, titan triggerfish, bannerfish, parrotfish, blue trevally, bluestriped snapper, sergeant major fish, porcupine fish, unicorn fish, boxfish, double-banded butterflyfish, and even a shy lobster.

Of course, we saw plenty more off-camera. The reef here is truly alive, and snorkeling it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
