(16 June 2014) I never mentioned the tongue, specifically the tip of the tongue, in all of this videos, because my teacher never did, which was stupid of me. I had it in the wrong place. As far as the voice or vowel was concerned, where the tongue tip settled did not disrupt the vocal stream. But for now and always, the tongue tip lies up against the lower teeth; just resting there. It has absolutely nothing to do with forming a vowel, or vowel formations. It is moves away on its own, so to speak, some muscle is engaged with the vowel that is in error. So we learn to monitor the tongue tip on the [a] vowel and where the voice works easily: on the med-low notes. I'll have more to say about this all important regulator later on.
