iPhone 3g/3gs home button not working?
You have a bad home button ribbon cable.
I show you how to repair or replace it for the cost of a $7 dollar part. You will also learn how to replace the LCD screen and the glass. This is a common problem, the Ribbon Cable is very fragile and prone to failure.
I simply show you how i did it, and/OR HOW TO REPAIR yours if you don't want to replace it. Not selling anything, just giving back some info to youtube, that has given me a lot. If you have any DIY skills, you will fix your phone and save yourself some money. You can also learn how to replace your glass screen, digitizer/lcd in this slideshow.
Just pause as needed as you go along. The ipod touch repair will be similar. This is not a work-around, not an app, it is the actual repair or replace of the electro/mechanical home button. you must have some skills and energy to do this. All the parts are readily available on eBay. USA sellers offer the quickest shipping, although some hong kong sellers get stuff here in a week.
