MACHYNLLETH TO FURNACE PART 1 - Walking The Wales Coast Path

Описание: Hello everyone and welcome to Part 1 of this video of the walk from Machynlleth to Furnace on the Wales Coast Path filmed in June 2025!

The start of the walk begins at the Clock Tower in Machynlleth then after a walk on the A487 we head out of Machynlleth onto the Wales Coast Path heading uphill!

After a little break overlooking Machynlleth it was back to the walk the Wales Coast Path goes onto the Cae-Gybi Road follow this road for around 15 minutes until you reach a gate!

At the gate turn right downhill until you get to the next gate this will take 5 minutes! At the next gate turn right on the road and then follow the road for 5 minutes until you reach a junction! This time turn left uphill follow this road for 10-15 minutes passing Troed-y-Rhiw along the way! Again follow the road for another 10 minutes until you can see tracks on the right! The Wales Coast Path follows this track!

Following the track the Wales Coast Path takes you into the Llyfnant Valley this was a really nice part of the walk you are in well shaded with the hot weather in Wales!

After 30 minutes of walking the Wales Coast Path goes past Felin Llyfnant a White House in the middle of nowhere very lucky whoever lives there!

Passing Felin Llyfnant the Wales Coast Path goes across Afon Llyfnant this river is only 10 miles long before it goes into the Afon Dovey!
