In 2015 3D Machine purchased a Haas VF-4 with Nikken trunnion, a cutting-edge 5-axis machining and milling machine, to increase their capabilities and enabling them to create complex curves and complicated components, tailoring their CNC machining services to meet their customer's needs.

3D Machine uses a Kern HSE 200-watt laser system to offer a full range of laser cutting, part marking, etching, and 3D-engraving services. With a table size of 48″ by 48″, the laser-cutting system can handle a broad array of components.

3D Machine uses a Flow waterjet system, featuring dual cutting heads, each capable of operating at 60,000 PSI of water pressure. This equipment can cut steel plate up to 3″ thick—and a huge variety of other metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites—at exceptionally-high levels of precision. Waterjet cutting also eliminates material edge hardening because virtually no heat is generated during cutting, and no mechanical stress is introduced. This makes waterjet cutting ideal for fast, cost-effective cutting of thicker parts made from nearly any material with minimal setup time.

3D Machine uses a Citizen L20 Swiss Lathe to create more complex turning jobs. With swiss turning, the component is spun and fed into a stationary tool, and the component is held tightly by a guide bushing, which virtually eliminates deflection and chatter, greatly enhancing precision and tolerance capabilities. Swiss turning lathes were originally developed for the Swiss watch industry to produce small, complex parts to a very high level of precision.
