Here, Jerry González and Steve Berrios also played their "songo" duet at a slower tempo... Totally different vibe!!

Unlike the faster version, this material was not used for both videos, so I can't make a mashup

Also, many commenters are saying that this is not Songo... I'm just using a title from the video, so that people can find it... Argue with Jerry and Steve please.

Although it's partially cut off, this clip uses the intro and outro breaks from "Obsesión" on the Moliendo Cafe album by The Fort Apache Band, 1993. Here, Jerry's 5-drum pattern seems to be an embellished 3-drum rumba "guaguancó" (originally a two drum melody, plus quinto on top, played by 3 drummers)...

Apparently Changuito pioneered or popularized the playing of two bells simultaneously. It hadn't been that common, previously?...
