Taped 333-feet below ground, deep inside Tennessee's Cumberland Caverns, this 12-part "musical adventure" series features both well-established and top emerging artists within the broad spectrum of Bluegrass, Jamgrass, Roots & Americana genres.
The Steeldrivers were the first national act to play Bluegrass Underground, having since earned the International Bluegrass Music Association's Emerging Artist of the Year, the Americana Music Association's New Artist of the Year, three Grammy nominations, and four IBMA awards. Braiding Bluegrass, Roots with Country, Soul, and contemporary influences The Steeldrivers create an unapologetic hybrid. This is new music with the old feeling... And visa versa. Labeling this band "brilliant," English pop star Adele calls The Steeldrivers, "a blues, country, bluegrass, swagger band."
