This Giant Artwork Nearly Destroyed Itself

Описание: This graffiti canvas almost never got finished.
What started as an ambitious idea quickly turned into three days of chaos, broken easels, insane wind, rain, and freezing winter conditions in Montreal.
This piece is made of twelve 18” x 24” canvases, taped together into one massive surface (4 wide by 3 high), and painted entirely with MTN-94 spray paint. I wanted to push myself creatively — but Mother Nature had other plans.
📍 Day 1: The canvases were too heavy and the easel collapsed.
📍 Day 2: 70 km/h winds and rain snapped the easel and damaged the canvases.
📍 Day 3: More wind, another collapse, and even a ladder hit one of the canvases.
Mentally, this project was exhausting. There were moments where I honestly thought about quitting. But with tools, problem-solving, duct tape, and a lot of stubbornness, I managed to repair the setup, reinforce the structure, and finish what might be my best painting yet.
