Baby Hospitalized with UTI...3 Days of High Fever, Rushed to A&E unresponsive/blue limbs 😨

This video shows lots of gagging/puke/difficult to watch symptoms.
Our 5-month+ baby started having super high fever, vomiting, and she hated paracetamol. Would puke everything out, which made it so difficult to feed.

Her high fevers went up to 39.9C. Still, we understood that under 6-months, doctors would usually just advise to monitor, so that's what we did.

However, on Day 3, we couldn't take it anymore. We went to the PD, who ordered blood tests for dengue/infection, and urine culture analysis. hard part is collecting her pee in pee bag in side the diaper. It failed in the clinic cos the lady didn't stick it properly, leading to most pee leaking out of the bag. So we were sent home and collected urine at home instead (luckily my husband is great at sticking). He sent it straight to the hospital lab after, but we were told it takes 3 days for the culture results..... So we were just waiting at home.... However...... the worst thing happened: Her fever was high, and when she woke up from contact nap, her whole body was SHIVERING, BLUE LIMBS, EYES UNRESPONSIVE.
This completely shocked us and made us spiral/panic. We decided to drive straight to Private hospital Mt Alvernia A&E, instead of calling and waiting for an ambulance. I'm glad we did.
We rushed in and made sure they saw us ASAP- doc obviously asked us to admit/ward, as they were worried it was a seizure.

Urine and blood markers came back showing infection - so they guess UTI. Immediately started her on super strong dose of antibiotics (which obviously, she HATES).

We cannot forget the sight of her 'lifeless' body.. it was the scariest thing ever.

I'm thankful our pD let us try oral antibiotics instead of IV, as we were super against doing IV/making her uncomfortable. I made sure to force feed her milk so often so that she wouldn't be dehydrated and need to be on IV drip. Also did a kidney ultrasound. Thankfully they let us both stay in the room with her. Unfortunately sleep was so fragmented though we tried to make it as comfortable for her (sound machine, pillows, blankets). She woke every sleep cycle (45mins) and needed to be carried back to sleep. It was very very tough.

So we asked the PD to discharge and thankfully she allowed, but we are still waiting for the urine culture results...
