Core EZe On-Axis Compact Core Drilling System

Описание: Core EZe is a unique on-axis Core drilling system for holes up to 250 mm diameter and depth.
Well suited to confined space working it offers vertical horizontal or angled drilling, all with guaranteed core retention.
Set-up is quick and easy
A single anchor is inserted in the centre of the cored area - no offset measuring is required.
With the guide post tightened in position, add the core bit, with its pre-fitted hex drive.
Then engage the motor and gearbox assembly with the hex drive, completing the installation with the Drill Feed Tube
Connect and adjust the water supply and you’re ready to drill
The operator controls the drilling rate by the speed at which they rotate the feed handle. If they attempt to drill too quickly or meet unexpected resistance, the safety clutch will disengage the motor. When drilling is complete, the feed handle is reversed to its starting position, at which point the core is released
Whether drilling horizontally vertically or at an angle, the core is always retained by the system
The precise alignment achieved by on-axis drilling is evidenced by the absence of wear on the core bit and explains the relatively low power required by the system.
The compact nature of the Core EZe system permits it to operate in spaces inaccessible to traditional drill rigs. The use of a shortened feed tube allows drilling from within this 600 mm sewer box, without compromising the ability to drill deep.
With only a single anchor point required to support the complete system, CoreEZe can be used in situations unsuited to traditional drill rigs with the added security of the core always remaining attached to the Guide Post.
Substituting the mains grinder with a battery-powered equivalent presents the opportunity for 100% off-grid drilling. In testing, a 125 mm core was removed from a 200 mm wall, using a twin-battery grinder.
And like its predecessors, the on-axis Core EZe will drill smoothly and accurately on curved surfaces.
