The Cape Split trail is one of Nova Scotia's most beautiful hikes! The trail brings you to the meeting point of the Minas Basin and the Bay of Fundy- places known to have the HIGHEST TIDES in the WORLD!
Join me as I hike this trail in search of birds- the area is also a known hotspot for migratory birds as it provides a forested refuge for birds flying over the water.
If you hike this trail, please be careful. There are steep, slippery cliffs above some deadly ocean currents. Cell service may be un-reliable and medical assistance could take a significant amount of time.
