The second event of the Vtec Club season brought the highly anticipated return of Touge Stage. An event where drivers compete in nose to tail elimination battles, for a shot at becoming the Touge King.
The event was a success, with competitors traveling from out of state to compete on May 26th 2019 at a cold and windy Streets of Willow at Willow Springs International Raceway. Touge Stage was open to all Honda's, with the only rule being a 140tw tire restriction. Competitor cars varied from nearly stock to purpose built race cars. The field was diverse and featured Fit's, various S2000's, Civic's, Integra's, CRX's, and the Hasport K Swapped Prelude. While there was only one Touge King, all competitors had a great time and enjoyed the Touge Stage format.
I apologize for the audio quality. I went to multiple stores to buy a mic adapter the night before, and found out they have been back ordered for months. Fortunately someone at GoPro came through and sent me a mic adapter, so this shouldn't be an issue in the future.
