This took about 100 hours and I'm finally finished. I had the rough draft of the transcription completed in winter of 2023. I sat on it for a while because life took over. I finally began working again this November/December. I feel like if I do nothing else with my life, maybe I've contributed something good here.
The video presents my proposed transcriptions and analyses for the piano and bass in "O Tannenbaum". I've included suggested piano fingering, roman numeral harmonic analysis, sentence-structure (AABA) analysis/breakdown, and a commentary subtitle track with relevant theory gems. Hope you like it. I also hope 2026 treats you well. Thanks.
