The probe follows a Supreme Court order transferring the investigation to the CBI. The stampede occurred during Vijay’s rally on September 27, where an overcrowded venue, alleged security lapses, and lack of basic arrangements reportedly led to the deaths of 41 people and injuries to at least 60 others.
