First time in Harlem NYC ❄️🍽️
We took the subway uptown to Harlem for the first time and started the morning with breakfast at the legendary Sylvia’s Restaurant. I had the chicken and waffles — the flavor and seasoning were unreal. My wife had fried chicken with string beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy, and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was.
After breakfast, we walked over to the Apollo Theater and spent the rest of the day exploring Harlem in the snow, taking in the streets, the culture, and the energy of the neighborhood. Beautiful place, beautiful people — an unforgettable first time in Harlem NYC.
