On 8th of August 2020, A group of hikers challenged themselves for a day hike up to Cathedral point 3872amsl in less than 6 hours, covering over 28km in total.
The challenge was all about conquering Kilimanjaro's oldest peak, Shira in few hours through the Shira/Morum route.
It was great an experience worth everything, it was tense, physically and mentally demanding but totally worth everything at the end of the day.
It was by far the best experience after long periods of inactivity caused by the pandemic, its great to be back, finally.
