12th December 2022 saw the opening of Barcelona Sant Andreu station on the Rodalies R2 and R11 lines, the station replaced the extremely old (one of the oldest in Spain) Sant Andreu Comtal station which is already in the process of being dismantled.
The station is enclosed in concrete, as is the rest of the line towards Barcelona as it works its way towards the new Sagrera TAV station, which will form a major new hub in Barcelona for Metro, Rodalies and High Speed trains.
As for our video today, we have a small selection of movements seen on opening day. I hope you enjoy it!
