Tienie shows how to do a “quick clean” and takes it further with a full “deep clean” of the shearing handpiece. He also shows how to set the centre post correctly which is critical to ensure that your handpiece runs nice and cool.
Tienie advises that one should replace all parts at the same time when replacing a worn part because of the movement interaction between the different parts - replacing only some parts will lead to faster degradation of the parts and a handpiece that runs too hot.
