Описание: ഇറാന്‍ പരമോന്നത നേതാവ് ആയത്തുള്ള അലി ഖമനെയിയുടെ കൊലപാതകത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ജമ്മു കശ്മീരില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധം ശക്തമാകുകയാണ്. ഷിയ വിഭാഗമാണ് പ്രതഷേധവുമായി രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്. കശ്മീര്‍ താഴ്വരയിലുട നീളം വന്‍ പ്രതഷേധം തുടരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍, തുടര്‍ച്ചയായ മൂന്നാം ദിവസവും പലയിടങ്ങളിലും കടുത്ത നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തി. മുന്‍കരുതല്‍ നടപടിയായി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ മാര്‍ച്ച് 7 വരെ അടച്ചിടാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. മൊബൈല്‍ ഇന്റര്‍നെറ്റ് വേഗതയും പരിമിതപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടംകൂടുന്നതും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതും തടയാന്‍ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ പൊലീസിനെയും സിആര്‍പിഎഫിനെയും വന്‍തോതില്‍ വിന്യസിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഷിയാ വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍ കൂടുതലായുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ ശക്തമായ പ്രതഷേധം നടന്ന ഇടങ്ങളിലും സുരക്ഷ ശക്തമാക്കി. നഗരത്തലേക്കുള്ള പ്രധാന പാതകളില്‍ ബാരക്കേഡുകളും മുള്ളവേലികളും സ്ഥാപിച്ച് ഗതാഗതത്തിനും നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഞായറാഴ്ച ഖമനെയിയുടെ മരണവാര്‍ത്ത പുറത്തു വന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെ വന്‍ പ്രതഷേധം അരങ്ങേറിയ ലാല്‍ ചൗക്കിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ക്ലോക്ക് ടവര്‍ പ്രദേശം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായും അടച്ചു. 2019 ഓഗസ്റ്റിന് ശേഷം ഇതാദ്യമായാണ് കശ്മീരില്‍ ഇത്രയും വലിയ പ്രതഷേധങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത്.

Protests have intensified in Jammu and Kashmir following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Members of the Shia community have taken to the streets in protest.

As large-scale demonstrations continue across the Kashmir Valley, strict restrictions have been imposed in several areas for the third consecutive day. As a precautionary measure, the government has ordered the closure of educational institutions until March 7. Mobile internet speeds have also been restricted.

To prevent public gatherings and movement, large numbers of police personnel and CRPF forces have been deployed across different regions. Security has been tightened particularly in Shia-majority areas and locations that witnessed strong protests in recent days. Barricades and barbed wires have been placed on major roads leading into the city, and traffic restrictions have been enforced.

The famous Clock Tower area at Lal Chowk, where massive protests erupted after news of Khamenei’s death emerged on Sunday, has been completely sealed off. This marks the first time since August 2019 that Kashmir has witnessed protests of such magnitude.
