Last year, Jashn-e-Rekhta was special in a very specific way.I was performing, running on nerves, rehearsals, and adrenaline.It was meaningful, but also a blur.
This year, I got to truly experience the festival.Walking around slowly, listening, watching, sitting with my family,not rushing from one place to another.
It felt softer.More present.Like being inside the moment instead of preparing for it.
This video is me sharing that experience, returning to the same place, but as a different version of myself.
The vlog moves between two timelines.
The opening clips are from last year, when I rehearsed and performed at Jashn-e-Rekhta (2024)
The rest of the video is from this year, spent in the city with my sister (and later, my mum) as we went back to the festival together.
