The controversial businessman scored billions of rand worth of tender contracts with government since 2003, with his alleged corrupt relationship with government officials proving to be central to his reputation. Watson is said to have been a religious man, who conducted regular prayer meetings at his company offices. His memorial service will be held at the Little Falls Christian Centre in the West Rand.
