It's a beautiful sunny October morning in Michigan, the perfect time to harvest herbs in the garden and greenhouse. Today, I harvested mint, rosemary, sage, chamomile, parsley, thyme, lavender, and catnip. I tied them in bundles with twine and hung them up in my kitchen to dry. In a couple of months, I will crumble them into jars and keep them in a cool, dry place.
