11 tourists in India rescued from cable car stranded in mid-air

Eleven people were rescued during a six-hour operation after a technical glitch caused a cable car to stop in mid-air in India's Solan district.
According to rescue officials on Monday, the tourists from Delhi were stranded between 600 to 1-thousand-500 meters in the air,... at the Parwanoo Timber Trail.
Rescuers were able to bring the tourists to safety after attaching another trolley to reach the stuck cable car.
The state government has ordered a probe into the incident.
This comes after a similar incident in April,... where a cable-car collision killed two, and left almost 50 people trapped mid-air in India's eastern Jharkhand state.
