42 records / Ivreatronic are proud to present 'Spezzatino Porcino', the new ALBUM by Fabio Fabio.Spezzatino Porcino could be described as progressive trip-hop, with Fabio Fabio (Marco Foresta and Mattia Ricco) roaming between electronic, tribalism, slow rhythms, and short casual moments from RAI 3 Radio and the sounds of the woods in Canavese. These elements become explorations of a mysterious tropical jungle: a provincial man who mutates into a man of the world.

A work unique in genre, it consists of 7 tracks immersed in various soundscapes that amplify the diversity of the ingredient mixture. The compositions are like trips into the memories of someone else, such as a school outing to 'Minitalia,' resembling an adventure on a cycling trip, cinematic and intense. These suggestions completely transform old vinyl records found in flea markets or gifts from relatives who have abandoned record players in cellars and now listen to music on their phones: new primitivism.

A play between dark sounds, heavy beats, and elegant arrangements creates a sound that transforms with a particular style, organic and varied to such a point that it would be difficult to recall similar music from elsewhere.

Imagine visiting an old abandoned villa, in the middle of woods that have overtaken it, each room offering a different sound, out of order, still and serene. Every door opens to the power of a disturbing place of memories that are not symmetric, but ordered and fragmented: then becomes now. Pagan rhymes ooze from the walls. A promiscuous blending holds a density of sound in a wild form, artisanal and fun: this is the key to understanding the recipe of Spezzatino Porcino.
