Описание: Extremely well made Gramophone Pickup dating to around 1929. Built by Phillips of Holland & rarely encountered. Decent internal construction with twin bar magnets positioned either side of a large single coil of 1400 Ohms resistance. Very unusual Triangular needle port for Bamboo needles in a reed or needle armature of large dimensions. The casing is Nickel plated Brass for insulating the mechanism from any Interference from an electric motor driven turntable. This pickup was reviewed in the Wireless world magazine in 1929 very favourably.
