Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi took a swipe at Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, mocking his remarks on the country’s narrative management system. “If you ask a Pakistani whether you lost or won, he will say my chief has become field marshal, so we must have won only,” Gen Dwivedi said. The comments were seen as a sharp jibe at Pakistan’s attempt to shape public perception after military setbacks.
