I hope you enjoyed the witch tutorial, I think the witch one is my personal favorite lol Today we are making Frankenstein crochet hat for Halloween. I think Frankenstein is my 2nd favorite. I have 2 more crochet tutorials to come, so please be sure to check those out also on my channel.

You can use this for a dog/ or cat. This is super suitable for even baby sheeps, maybe even rabbits. Any size animal from 6- 18 lbs.

As stated in my previous tutorial, there is no downloadable or written crochet pattern however, I will be attaching it here below.

MATERIALS
#4 WORSTED WEIGHT YARN (BIG TWIST-SLIME), OR ANY GREEN YOU'D LIKE TO USE, BLACK, RED
H/8 5.0 CROCHET HOOK
THICK YARN NEEDLE FOR EMBROIDERY AND WEAVING IN ENDS
SCISSORS

Round 1: MR with 8 sc, join. (8)
Round 2: Ch-2 (doesn't count throughout), 2 dc in every st, join (16)
Round 3: Ch-2, 1 dc in first st, 2 dc, rep around, join (24)
Round 4: Ch-2, 1 dc in first (2) sts, 2 dc in next st, rep around, join (32)
Round 5 (earholes): Ch-2, 1 dc in first 3 sts, ch-12, skip 6 sts, 1 dc to join to 7th st. 1 dc in next 7 sts. Rep earholes AGAIN. Ch-12, skip 6, 1 dc to join to the 7th st. 1 dc in last remaining sts. (44)
Round 6: Ch-2, 1 dc in every st around, join. (44)
Round 7: Ch-2, 1 hdc in every st, join. (44)
Round 8 (ear ties): Ch-1, sc in same st, 1 sc in next 9 sts, when getting to center of 12 sts (6th st), chain up 31, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc across back up to the hat, then sc in next available st, 1 sc around to other side until you reach the other side of the earhole, rep ear ties again, 1 sc in last remaining sts. (44)

Embroider the hat with red yarn *as shown in video**

Frankenstein Ears
#4 Worsted Weight Yarn (Red Heart Super Saver- Dusty Gray)
G/6 4.0 mm crochet hook

Note: Ch-2 will not count as a st throughout pattern.

Begin with a Magic Ring, Ch-1. 5 sc. Sl st to join to the first sc. (5)
Round 2-Round 3: 1 sc in every st. Sl st to first st. (5)
Round 4: Ch-2 (does not count) 1 hdc in every st. Sl st to first st. (5)
Round 5: Ch-2, 2 dc into first st, 1 dc in next st. 2 dc, 1 dc in next st* rep around. Sl st to first st. (8)
Round 6: Ch-2, 1 hdc into every st. (8)
Make (2), Finish off, and attach to the side of Frankenstein’s hat

To do the hair, cut a bunch of equal size pieces and cut them in 4's and attach to head as desired and trim, then comb his hair til it's soft and hair like, then I used hairspray to tame his hair.
