From waking up to misty hills and brewing a strong pour-over, to watching the calm of the mountains suddenly shift with a sip of coffee—it was a day full of unexpected little moments. And let’s just say even my ancestors seemed to approve of the adventure.
The day took me through winding roads and led me to a stunning waterfall, where I couldn’t resist stopping for some tender coconut and local fruits. Meeting Maya, my gentle giant of a friend, was the highlight—feeding her and watching her happily munch away was pure joy. The tea estates of Munnar made sure I didn’t leave without sampling plenty of their brews, and a quick bite of cucumber salad and grilled chicken kept me going.
By the time I got back to my hotel, the rains, toll booths, and even a crashed internet connection couldn’t dull the magic of the day. Munnar, you’ve been special. 🌿✨
