As an American, I had no idea just how impressive these firefighting aircraft from Canada are — the sheer size, speed, and precision of these planes dropping water is absolutely mind-blowing.
It’s amazing to see international teamwork like this, with Canada sending their world-famous CL-415 “Super Scooper” water bombers to assist in fighting fires in California. The way these planes swoop down, scoop up thousands of gallons of water, and then dump it right over raging wildfires feels like something out of a movie.
