Ce projet ne transforme pas seulement une recette traditionnelle, il améliore aussi considérablement les moyens de subsistance des éleveurs locaux. Fini la vente au rabais : les animaux sont désormais vendus au kilo, garantissant un prix juste et des paiements sécurisés.
Et ce n'est pas tout ! L'introduction d'une machine de séchage moderne assure une production hygiénique et efficace, avec un objectif de près de 1000 kg par jour !

Did you know that Kilishi, that delicious dried meat, is being reinvented in Cameroon? Thanks to an innovative partnership with German development cooperation through its GIZ PADER project, the production of Kilishi made from the meat of small ruminants (goats, sheep) is booming!

This project is not only transforming a traditional recipe, it is also considerably improving the livelihoods of local livestock farmers. Gone are the days of selling animals on the cheap: animals are now sold by the kilo, guaranteeing a fair price and secure payments.

And that's not all! The introduction of a modern drying machine ensures hygienic and efficient production, with a target of almost 1,000 kg per day!
