Описание: John De Goes paid Scala Hamburg a visit last weekend hosted by RISK IDENT, and gave a talk just for us! It was an honor to meet and get familiar with the leader in functional programming.

In part 1, John gave his 12 Steps To Better Scala, where we learned the what, why and whether your team is doing big data Scala, Lightbend Scala or functional Scala.

Afterwards in part 2, in a more cozy and personal atmosphere, we learned about John’s understanding of Scala, where he envisions the future and what the next big things in functional programming could be.
