Ljubljana’s symbol - the Ljubljana Dragon - stands for power, courage, and greatness, and you’ll spot it proudly at Ljubljana Castle and on the iconic Dragon Bridge.

Stroll through a traffic-free city centre that’s easy to explore on foot, where the Ljubljanica River winds past lively cafés, bars, and restaurants. Cross the city’s many bridges - including the famous Triple Bridge - and take in the relaxed riverside atmosphere. Above it all, Ljubljana Castle offers fantastic views of the city and is accessible on foot, by bus, or by funicular.

AE2026 will take place at the Gospodarsko Razstavišče Exhibition and Congress Centre, just about 20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Getting here is easy too: Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 24 km northwest of the city, with most European destinations only 1-3 hours away by plane - and you can also fly into Venice and rent a car for the journey.
