Quds Day march goes on, joined by Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria and Malaysia while US strikes shake Tehran

Описание: Protesters on March 13 gathered worldwide for Quds Day, an annual pro-Palestinian rally established by Iran in 1979, following US and Israeli military strikes against Iran.

In Tehran, crowds marched waving Iranian flags and portraits of late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his successor, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

High-ranking Iranian officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, joined the demonstration, despite ongoing airstrikes targeting central Tehran during the rally.

Iranian Foreign Minister declared that despite “brutal” US and Israeli attacks, millions across Iran joined the rallies, showing the people’s steadfast support for their nation.

In Pakistan, home to the largest Shia population outside Iran, protesters voiced their support.

Iraq also saw hundreds of Iraqis marching with a firm stance of resistance.

Meanwhile, in Nigeria, Africa’s largest Shia community, pro-Iran Shia Muslims rally in Nigeria’s capital Abuja.

Malaysia, a Sunni-majority nation, activists marched toward US embassies, chanting slogans like “Death to America” and “No Zionism.”

As the protests go on, death toll has surpassed 2,000 across Middle East amid growing global concerns about a possible energy crisis as the war in Iran nearly enters the third week.
