So the gods tell desmond that they tried to stop the destruction of their world and they made vaults with a different solution each, they all failed and so did their civilization. The information of all the vaults was gather in one single place, there is where desmond needs to go so he can find his own path.
He wakes out of his coma and around him is his father (William Miles), Shaun and Rebecca and he tells that he knows what they need to do...
