Описание: Out in the backcountry of San Diego sits this true local gem, basically untouched and unseen to modernity. Built in the 1880's, this limestone kiln is in pretty good shape considering its age. I forgot to mention in the video, but limestone is a key component in the making of cement. Which made it an essential commodity especially with the kiln's close proximity to the up and coming city of San Diego. This was just a quick impromptu explore, as this has been on my bucket list for quite a while. I wish I could have gotten them on video, but along the way I must have seen about 10 deer and a coyote before getting to my destination. Hope you enjoy this video and in advance thanks for watching!
