I thought the nightmare was over once the Vault was sealed and the World Razer locked away, but no — there’s always another locked door on this planet, and behind it something worse is waiting. Section X. Even the name feels like it was designed by someone who wanted you to stay away. Naturally, that meant I had to walk in. The Dread Masters had been here long before me, leaving their fingerprints all over the place. Their whispers still hang in the air like mold. Even the wilds aren’t safe — plants twisting into things that look like they crawled out of a Sith alchemy experiment, animals mutating into oversized nightmares. It’s like someone decided to cross-breed a jungle with a weapons lab. And then there are the prisoners: Trandoshans, Gamorreans, the kind of criminals you usually hear about in cantina horror stories. The Dread Masters recruited them, turned Section X into their pet project, their little playground of chaos. Lovely. And it doesn’t stop on the surface. I’ve learned the Dread Masters don’t just corrupt people; they burrow into places. Their influence runs beneath the crust here, like roots of some poisonous tree spreading across worlds. Every corridor I walked felt like it was listening to me. Every shadow looked like it wanted to crawl under my skin. Funny thing about paranoia: it’s not paranoia if you’re right. In the middle of this creeping madness, I found a crashed ship — the Fatality. A graveyard of metal and secrets. And the Dread Masters wanted it. That’s how I knew I had to get there first. Inside, I stumbled onto something ancient, something infamous: HK assassin droids. Models so efficient at murder they were practically Sith Lords with oil baths. One of them, I later learned, had once served Darth Revan himself. That’s the kind of resume that makes you pause. Naturally, I decided to build one. Call it professional curiosity… or maybe survival instincts. The result was HK-51, who greeted me by cheerfully listing the most efficient ways to dismantle my body. I like him already. There was a rough start — apparently “don’t shoot your new master” wasn’t part of his default programming — but I think we’ll get along. If I ever hear blaster fire behind me, at least now there’s a chance it isn’t meant for me. This counts as a win. The Dread Masters wanted the Fatality, and instead, I walked away with their prize as my new companion. But victories against them feel shallow, like pushing back a tide with your bare hands. I know what’s coming. Section X was just a test, a whisper of what they’re building. I can feel it. The real storm hasn’t even started.
