been recognized in the field of Literature and Education. A respected writer and educationist, his contribution includes critical essays and independent literary works. He was honored with the Nehru Literacy Award by former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Over the decades, he has enriched Hindi journalism and educational thought through publications such as:
Shiksha Pradeep (Monthly Magazine, 1963–64)
Jandharma (Weekly Magazine, 1977–98)
Duragami Outlook (Started in 2000–01)
Akshara (Bi-monthly Magazine, started in 2003)
Shri Mohan Nagar from Rajgarh district has been awarded the Padma Shri for his exceptional work in environment protection and water conservation. Born on 23 February 1968 and a postgraduate in Political Science from Vikram University, Ujjain, he worked extensively in the tribal regions of Betul district on sustainable water management. Popularly known as “Jal Purush,” he led rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge initiatives. His “Ganga Avtaran Abhiyan” became a mass movement for water conservation. Since 23 August 2024, he has served as Vice Chairman of MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad with Minister of State status. His work also spans organic farming, rural development, and education, and he serves as Secretary of Bharat Bharti Residential School, Betul.
Dr. Narayan Vyas from Ujjain has been honored for his lifelong contribution to archaeology. Born on 5 January 1949, he served for 37 years (1972–2009) and continues research even after retirement. He worked under the guidance of Padma Shri Vishnu Shridhar Wakankar. His major archaeological contributions include excavations and conservation work at Bhimbetka, Sanchi Stupas, Rani ki Vav, and 10th–11th century wall remains at Gaurakhpur (Raisen). He began his career with a modest salary of ₹450 per month, dedicating his life to preserving India’s cultural heritage.
