Summit County jury finds Erica Stefanko guilty for 2012 murder of pizza delivery driver

Описание: A Summit County jury has again convicted a Rittman woman for her role in the murder of a Domino's Pizza driver who shared a child with her then husband.

Erica Stefanko, 41, was found guilty Wednesday of both aggravated murder and murder for the 2012 killing of 25-year-old Ashley Biggs. It was the second trial for the defendant, whose initial conviction was overturned on appeal before authorities decided to charge her again.

The case itself dates back to the evening of June 12, 2012, when prosecutors say Stefanko lured Biggs to the parking lot of a vacant New Franklin business by ordering a pizza to the location. At the time, Stefanko was married to now 42-year-old Chad Cobb, who shared a daughter with Biggs and "had been going through a very contentious custody battle" over the then 7-year-old girl.

What happened next is somewhat up for debate, but officials claim it was Cobb who tased Biggs before beating and strangling her to death. Cobb and Stefanko then drove Biggs' body southwest to Chippewa Township, and her remains were found there the next day in her car.
