This vlog is a bit of a special one, because I was lucky enough to be invited back to the London International Horse Show to ride in a live masterclass in the London Arena. This is the fourth year I’ve had the chance to do this, and it still feels just as surreal every single time.

This year I decided to take my old faithful Jammy, and as always, she didn’t let me down. She absolutely rose to the occasion, felt incredible to ride, and reminded me exactly why she’s been such a huge part of my journey. She was on SPRINGS for the jumping!

The masterclass was taught by Diane Lampard MBE, which was pretty mind blowing. Di is responsible for the structure, management and coaching provision of the GBR Senior Jumping Team, and works closely with British Showjumping and World Class with the aim of delivering podium places at championship level. She represented Great Britain at World and European Championships during her career, has been involved in developing young riders for decades, and was awarded an MBE in 2017 for her services to equestrian. WOW!

I was riding alongside Rachel Proudley, who was fresh off her puissance win at the show, which made the whole experience even more exciting and slightly intimidating in equal measure. Watching, learning, and riding in that environment was genuinely such a privilege, and hopefully this video gives you a real insight into just how valuable these sessions are.

Alongside the masterclass, this vlog also shows everything else that goes on around it. From accidentally driving the Liberty horsebox through central London, to behind the scenes at the show, to soaking up the atmosphere and having a bit of fun along the way. It’s very much a mix of learning, nerves, excitement, and a reminder of how lucky I am to do what I do.
