Though the story of LBP 2 isn't particularly deep, I never understood the Negativitron's monologue in the starting cutscene. I can only guess that it's a remnant of a previous draft of the story, but it's weird that it was left as a vestige since his condemnations don't make much sense in this version. It's odd to criticize a story that's simplistic and probably not worth worrying about too much, but the straight-faced nature of the darker undertones is what makes it stand out as so incongruous with the rest of the mostly light and fluffy story.

This recording is quite interesting for me. When I originally played and beat this level, I had a fair amount of difficulty besting this boss without dying. Like The Collector, the final boss of the first LBP game, The Negativitron is moderately challenging and definitely comes across as final boss material. However, during my much later revisit for this recording, I managed to do it all in one go (and with only a few minor mistakes in my strategy). I don't know if I had some sort of mental block preventing me from doing so well previously, but apparently something changed between then and now.
