A few years ago when Mad Cow Disease was running rampant, this would have been an episode of Why Did You Kill Me With That? People were getting sick and dying after eating the infected cows that had gotten sick from feed that included bits of their brothers and sisters. Turns out that cannibalism is bad for everyone's health. Eaten all across the world, cow brains are both a delicacy and a typical working-class meal. Much like other weird meat including tongue, tripe and even grasshoppers, we think they taste best in tacos and they even have a nifty name that doesn't remind us at all that we are brain eaters: sesos!
