The Singapore Army has commissioned its latest armored fighting vehicle (AFV) at the Armour formation's 50th-anniversary parade on Tuesday, June 11. Locally designed and developed by the Defence Science and Technology Agency with the Singapore Army and ST Engineering, the Hunter was unveiled in June 2016 and will progressively replace the army's fleet of Ultra M113 AFVs, which have been in service since the 1970s.
