আসন্ন নির্বাচনকে সামনে রেখে গত দুই মাসে দেশে প্রবাসী আয় বা রেমিট্যান্স আসা বেড়েছে। চলতি মাসের প্রথম চার দিনে ৫০ কোটি ৬০ লাখ ডলার অর্থাৎ ৬ হাজার ১৭৩ কোটি টাকার সমপরিমাণ প্রবাসী আয় এসেছে।

In the last two months, remittances from expatriates have increased in the country ahead of the upcoming elections. In the first four days of this month, $506 million, or the equivalent of Tk 6,173 crore, was received.
