Sorry it's the best video I have of my full auto Ruger.
What was so unique about this full auto Ruger was it fired on a closed bolt but the bolt did not lock.
It was a strait blowback closed bolt full auto and yes it used an auto sear that I made out of a piece of hawkbill knife blade.
You might ask well how is it working so well? Well it didnt at first when I first modified it .
I was only getting a few rounds full auto like 2 to 3 round burst then a misfire.
I then realized what was causing the misfires.
It was a minor flaw in Ruger 10/22 bolt design and all 10/22 Rugers have this problem it's called bolt bounce.
So I figured as the bolt was tripping the auto sear and the hammer was released to strike the firing pin the bolt would bounce rearward and the hammer would only hit the bolt causing a misfire.
To fix this problem I modified the bolt to work like a deadblow hammer then it was flawless no more bolt bounce
no more misfires.
