If you want a taste of Vancouver without the big city, Capilano is probably the place for you. Conveniently located within driving distance of downtown and free shuttle buses for those coming in via seaplane or cruise, Capilano has lots to offer both historically and visually. There is something for all ages and lots of public washrooms as well as several food and beverage outlets. If you’re so inclined, you can even visit during the off season in which the tree canopy/park is lit up in the evening with lights.
