Among the tools used in shoemaking, sewing machines for making uppers are quite expensive. So, I decided to try making uppers with a Chinese leather patcher, which I had been interested in for a while. It requires a lot of maintenance, but I thought it could be useful for upper making. However, I don't think it's suitable for mass production.
Since this machine is affordable, more people can use it, and I find that significant. Its structure is exposed, allowing you to understand how the machine works. I've grown to really like this machine.
