MFW4A will co-host a series of webinar to showcase recently produced financial sector country profiles. The MFW4A Partnership has over the past few years developed and updated financial sector profiles in over 50 African countries. These country profiles provide detailed information on countries’ financial sector by documenting recent trends, progress, challenges and opportunities for a deeper financial sector.
This first webinar, which took place on Tuesday, 5th July, presented the financial sector profiles for Sudan and Kenya with the aim of generating knowledge and influencing policy.
MFW4A collaborated with a number of institutions including the Kenyan Banking Association (KBA), the Georgetown University among others to produce the financial sector profiles for Kenya, Sudan, Eswatini, Ghana, Namibia, etc. The country profiles are expected to discuss policy direction and serve as an important tool to inform financial sector strategies. In an effort to further unearth key nuances, MFW4A has recently produced the financial sector profiles for a number of countries in order to present recent evidence to support policy aimed at spurring the country’s financial sector development.
