I finished watching this show two days ago. And I miss it already .
I loved this show since the first episode, not only for the presence of Bobby in the lead role, but as a whole. I loved all the characters, the story, etc...and I found my new OTP: Hamish and Isobel. I love them so much. Of course, like all the couples that I ship, this pair also has its fair share of angst..but all the scenes in the final episode made ​​it all worth. My beautiful babies.
It's a pity that this serie has had so few episodes and so few seasons. And it's a pity that they waited until the last episode to fix things between Hamish and Isobel. I would have loved to see more happy scenes between them.
However, it is a show that I would recommend to everyone, if you get the chance. You will not regret it. And I consider Hamish one of the best roles of Robert Carlyle -who at the time was still a wee boy ♥-. Totally in love with him.
For all Harry Potter fans, Isobel is played by the same actress who played Moaning Myrtle! :D But i hadn't recognized her immediately. I totally love her character in Hamish, but i don't like Moaning Myrtle as character. But Shirley Henderson is really amazing.
