The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a chargesheet against the four accused in the Hathras gangrape and murder case on Friday. In the chargesheet, the CBI has invoked charges of gangrape (sections 376, 376-A and 376-D IPC) and murder (section 302 IPC), against all four, besides also invoking sections of the SC/ST Act. The CBI chargesheet was filed at a local court in Hathras. A 19-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly gangraped and murdered by four upper caste men in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh on September 14. She succumbed to her injuries a fortnight later at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Watch the video for more details.
