Marcos now in US for 4-day working visit | ANC

Описание: Dateline Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. arrived in New York, United States, on Sunday, March 8, to kickstart his working visit.

This is Marcos Jr.’s sixth visit to the United States since he took office in 2022. PR001—the callsign of the official aircraft carrying the President—landed at the Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. (local time).

On Monday, March 9, Marcos Jr. will deliver a speech at the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. In his departure message, the Chief Executive called it an “opportunity to share the best practices of the Philippines,” including the challenges the country faces regarding women’s rights and the lessons that can be learned from its journey towards peace. — Report from Harlene Delgado, ABS-CBN News
